Recently The veteran actor and the most senior member in the kapoor family Shashi Kapoor’s demise early this month put entire B-town in a state of deep mourning. Shashi Kapoor take his last breath at the age of 79-years-old. However, it also brought the entire Kapoor clan much closer than ever before. So much so that the prestigious film family will continue with an important tradition in honour of the late veteran actor.
Kareena Kapoor Khan father Randhir Kapoor, who is also the nephew of the late actor, revealed recently that the Kapoor Khandaan will carry out its annual Christmas brunch where all members of the family will come under one roof. This is one of the proud reunion for Kapoor’s. As Raj Kapoor father of Randhir Kapoor said once “The show must go on” and look Kapoor reunion under one roof.
Shashi’s sons Kunal and Karan will be playing hosts this year and filling their father’s shoes. As for the reason behind this celebration, Randhir feels that his uncle always believed in celebrations and had even said that they shouldn’t mourn his death but should celebrate his life instead. So in a way, the actor feels that this family gathering on Christmas will be a memorable ode to him. Shashi had first started the Christmas brunch tradition with his wife Jennifer in 1984 and has hosted one every year since.
