Early Life : Born in 1990 to a middle class family residing in a small village called Thiruvarpu, centred in Kottayam district of Kerala, his journey so far has been so motivational. It was during his early phase of education where he got rooted to the world of writing.
Marine Journey : 2008,Yadhu Krishnan attended Bsc Nautical Science from T S Rahman, Mumbai which is the oldest nautical college of India. He was recruited by the European Company Wilhelmsen Ship Management which is a part of Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA headquartered in Lysaker in Norway, soon after his Senior Secondary Education. Later his studies for marine, he was trained onboard from 2009 by the same European Company under their fleet vessels. He soon climbed up the steps from being a trainee cadet to Chief Officer and became one among the youngest Chief mates of his batch in the prestigious LPG Trading Fleet of his company. Yadhu Krishnan is planning to clear his Master Mariner course and exams by next year soon after his commitments for his upcoming Hollywood movie.
Filmmaking Journey : Yadhu started off his passion for writing during his studies in Mumbai, where he wrote for advertisements and art events. This gradually grew to short fictions and screenplay assistance. Yadhu’s directorial debut short fiction CHOICE, won him various national and international film festival awards. Through Bioscope Global Film Festival, he was able sponsor an underprivileged child for his education under the motto of “Chalo Padayen Bachon Ko”.
Later Yadhu started learning filmmaking from renowned Hollywood filmmaking specialists and gradually started working on extending his network and managed to learn everything around various departments under filmmaking. Later his passion for filmmaking turned him to learn production and distribution of films on a global scale. It was during 2019, Yadhu was roped in as the screenwriter for the much awaited Hollywood movie “Escape from Black Water” which casted major Hollywood fames like Paul Sidhu,Isaiah Washington,Louis Mandylor and Kevin Gage. Yadhu is at present working on his directorial Hollywood ventures.
Social Contribution : Yadhu has been founder member of a Blood Donation Group fully operated through whatsapp for his regional city Kottayam in Kerala. He has been a donor since his first blood donation during his studies for marines in Mumbai. Until now, he with the help of his friend Ambilikuttan has been successful in supporting blood requirements for more than 100 + cases over three years till date. They have been supporting few other charitable organisations like Samarpanam Charitable Trust. They have been closely working with another registered Blood Donation group BDK as well. Yadhu has been constantly trying to follow his passion for filmmaking. He believes to keep working on movies irrespective of the barrier of language and culture.
