Mumbai: A photo of Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon's grave has gone viral on the internet, claiming that the grave of Yakub Memon has been decorated with marble and lights. After the picture came out, politics also started on it. BJP leader Ram Kadam has alleged that Yakub Memon's grave was converted into a tomb when Uddhav Thackeray was the chief minister.

BJP leader Ram Kadam said Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar and Rahul Gandhi should apologise to the people of Mumbai for this. Yakub Memon's body was buried after being hanged five years ago in a large cemetery built on about 7 acres in front of the marine lines railway station. Now a photo of the grave of Yakub Memon has surfaced, in which it is being claimed that Yakub Memon's grave has been decorated with marble and lights. When asked about this, the employee of Bada Kabristan said that there are many such graves in the cemetery, which have been decorated with marble, for which they pay annual fees.

Ashfaq, an employee of the graveyard, says that someone has done mischief because the entire cemetery has lights in place, which glow from 6 pm to 11 pm. Then, it is extinguished. Ashfaq said that many relatives of Yakub Memon come, who take care of the cleanliness of the grave. Ashfaq, an employee of Bada Kabristan, showed many more graves, which were surrounded by marble. He said that on the day of Shab-e-Barat, the entire cemetery is decorated, and lights are installed, maybe this picture is from the same time.
