Recently, the company has announced the launch of BS6 compliant versions FZ 25 and FZS 25 on its official website. The two-wheeler manufacturer has officially released the teaser of both these bikes. Soon, these 250cc engine capacity motorcycles will be seen on the roads.

It is being speculated that both these Yamaha BS6 bikes can be launched in this country only after the lockdown is over. With this, the company has also released the teaser of both these bikes on its social media platforms. Talking about the engine and power, both these bikes will be given a BS9 compliant 249cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that generates 20.5 hp power at 8000 Rpm and 20.1 Nm torque at 6000 Rpm. Speaking of transmission, the engine will be equipped with a 5-speed gearbox.

Yamaha India first launched the Yamaha FZS-FI BS6 in the Indian market. This bike has a 149cc BS VI engine, which generates a power of 12 at 7,250 and a torque of 13.6 Nm at 5,500. The new FZS-FI BS6 version has a single channel anti-lock braking system (ABS), LCD instrument cluster, disc brakes in both front and rear wheels and a signal piece to level seat. Yamaha introduced this bike in two new colors Darknight and Metallic Red and the bike is also available in them from pre-existing colors.
