According to media reports, the company has hiked the prices of bikes by Rs 600 to Rs 1200. Yamaha has hiked the prices of its premium bike YZF-R15 V3.0 by Rs 600, after which the bike prices have gone up to Rs 1.40 lakh. After the hike, the prices of Yamaha FZ25 and Yamaha 25 have gone up to Rs 1.34 lakh and Rs 1.44 lakh. While the Yamaha FZ-FI is priced at Rs 96,180 and FZS-FI is priced at Rs 98,180.

For the information received, the company has not raised the prices of the recently launched Yamaha MT-15. The bike is priced at Rs 1.36 lakh, while the Yamaha R15 has priced at Rs 1.47 lakh, compared to the Yamaha R15's KTM RC 125, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.47 lakh.
Yamaha has discontinued its YZF-R15 V1 and Fazer 150 bikes. The company has not updated both the bikes with ABS even after the deadline of April 1. As per safety rules, bikes cannot be sold without ABS feature.
