Rampur: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan, his wife and son are imprisoned in Sitapur. Now the yogi government of the state has also started taking action against Azam's Karimov. Azam and Dharmendra Singh Chouhan, the close head constable of the then CO Ale Hasan Khan, have been arrested by the police in the Yatikhana basti case. Dharmendra was sent to jail after his appearance in court.

Several cases were registered against Azam's Karimov in rampur's famous Yatikhana basti case. In one of the cases related to this, Dharmendra, a resident of Etah district, was also wanted. He was later transferred to Shahjahanpur district. Additional Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh said that Dharmendra was posted in Rampur at the time of the incident. It was the gunner of the then jurisdictional officer, Ale Hasan.

Dharmendra is said to have been arrested from the last gate of the court. He had arrived to appear before the court. Additional Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh informed that Dharmendra has seized old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100 looted from the people's house, 1000 thousand notes and ear drops, CD players, a gold chain, silver anklets.
