New Delhi: This year the annual Brahmotsavam program will be organized between 30 September to 8 October at Tirupati Balaji Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. For this, preparations have started at war level. On Saturday, an important meeting was held in Tirumala to take stock of these preparations. According to the executive, a total budget of Rs 7.53 crore has been set for this year's annual Brahmotsavam to be held in Tirupati Balaji.
It was determined in the high-level meeting that from this budget, other arrangements will be seen from construction works. In this, 37 LED big screens will also be installed for the devotees. Out of these 21 LED screens will be installed in the vicinity of the temple. It is being told that at present there are 306 toilets on the routes around the temple, in addition to this 180 mobile toilets will be arranged and maintained.
According to the official, a total of 1500 CCTVs will be installed in Tirumala during the Brahmotsava. 1200 employees of the temple administration will be employed to serve the devotees. Apart from these, 4200 policemen, 3500 Srivari Seva volunteers, and 1500 Scouts and Guides will be deployed in security. The number of public vehicles and their trips will also be increased by the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation.
