Yediyurappa's Granddaughter Soundarya Dies by Suicide

Bangalore: A 30-year-old granddaughter of former chief minister BS Yediyurappa is accused of hanging herself in her Vasanth Nagar apartment in Bengaluru's Central Business District. Soundarya, the daughter of BSY's daughter Padmavathi, has been identified as the deceased.

According to the police, the event was come to light about 10 a.m. when one of the house's domestic assistants called her husband Niranjan and informed him that they had rung the call bell and knocked on the door but received no response.

Niranjan attempted calling her on her cellphone, but she didn't answer. Hence he rushed to the residence and opened the door with the use of a spare key to find her in the hanging state. He hurried her to a private hospital with the assistance of others, where the physicians proclaimed her dead.

The matter has been taken up by the High Grounds police, and her body is being autopsied at Bowring Hospital. Dr. Soundarya was living with her nine-month-old kid and her doctor husband, Niranjan. According to the police, she married Niranjan in 2018.
