This episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein begins with everyone preparing for the Karwa Chauth pooja. Simmi passes a plate to Ruhi. Romi and Adi are really hungry. Adi passes him Bananas and he goes to the washroom to eat them but Mihika catches him and gets angry. Everyone gathers on the roof. Param meets Simmi and he tells Ruhi that Nikhil has come to see her. The Women see their husbands face and break their fasts.

Shagun sees Mani's face and he breaks her fast. Both of them are extremely happy and thank god for bringing them together. Simmi faints and Ishita sprinkles water on her. Parmeet says that heer fast is broken now and Simmi scolds Ishita. Raman sees Ruhi with Nikhil and gets angry. He throws the pooja plate and slaps him. Ruhi goes running to Ishita and sees Simmi shouting at her. She tells Simmi that she cant shout at Ishita like that.

Raman brings Nikhil there and tells everyone that Ruhi lied to them and kept a fast fo Nikhil. Ishita slaps Ruhi and tells her that she is wrong. Ruhi says that she won't lose to anyone. Ruhi grabs Nikhil's hand. After a lot of fighting, Ishita asks Nikhil to leave as its Bala and Kiran's first Karwa Chauth. Nikhil leaves and asks Ruhi to take care.
