During a conversation with the media, Pankhuri said, 'My journey was very short but it was very good. I got the offer of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai only when I was auditioning for films. Due to this, my track was kept for 3 months but due to the good ratings coming, my roll was increased. In the meantime, she was also shooting for her film. Pankhuri further said, 'During this show, I also received many threatening mail and messages. Some people also became personal. Well, I did not put these things on my heart. I played many shades playing this character.'
