The shooting of the popular Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been stopped. The shooting stopped after actor Sachin Tyagi aka Manish Goenka tested positive for the coronavirus on Saturday. Sachin plays the role of Karthik's father in YRKKH, with Mohsin Khan (Karthik) and Shivangi Joshi (Naira) in the lead roles. Following Sachin's COVID-19 test results, the entire cast and crew of YKHH underwent coronavirus testing.

Apart from Sachin, three other people in the team have been diagnosed with the virus. Some other crew members are awaiting their COVID-19 test results. After Sanchi Tyagi was diagnosed with coronavirus infection, the shooting came to a complete halt. The current track of the show largely focuses on Sachin Tyagi, which shows Manish having met with an accident and lost his memory, and is behaving like a child.

The YRKKH team along with producer Rajan Shahi recently celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi as they welcomed Lord Ganesha on the set of the show. Earlier, another shoot of the show Kasauti Zindagi Kay, which aired on Star Plus, was halted after the show's lead actor Partha Samathan (Anurag Basu) was tested positive for COVID-19. Talking about YRKKH, this show has been thrilling the audience for many years. Fans like Karthik and Naira's onscreen chemistry and lovingly call them 'Kayra'. In May this year, both of them completed 4 years of togetherness.
