In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Naira decides to go with Kirti. She secretly wishes Kartik to stop her from leaving. However, Kartik says nothing as he is still upset with her. He cries as Manish comes to him to express his happiness for Kirti. Naksh offers water to Kirti. He sees Naira upset and asks her the reason. He tells her she shouldn't have left Kartik alone. Naira assures them she is fine and everything is okay. She thinks of ways of hiding the truth from them. Elsewhere, Kartik and Aryan get into a spat. And even though the former apologizes, Aryan decides to take revenge for the insult.

Others in the family are disturbed with Kartik's changed behaviour. They think he is missing Kirti and even Naira isn't around. Meanwhile, Kirti enters the house and goes through all the traditions. Looking at them, Naira is convinced that her decision to get the two married was for good. She misses Kartik and leaves a voicemail for him.

Kartik listens to the voicemail and calls Kirti. But she is seen busy with Naksh and the rest of the family. Naira picks up Kartik's call but he doesn't desire to talk to her and asks her to give the phone to Kirti. She does so. He asks her if she is fine. She tells him she is with Naksh and Naira, and that he should have come along. Kartik thinks of telling her the truth but just then Bhabhi Ma calls her. She gives the phone to Naira and leaves.
