One of the most loved actresses Ayesha Jhulka has appeared in various Big Hit movies. The actress became famous for her song Pehla Nasha and even Today this song is among the most loved song. Ayesha has worked in a couple of movies with Salman Khan. In a recent interview, Ayesha opens up on why she declined many films for her comeback.

The actress speaking about the role offered to her was like her mother and sister-in-law. She said, “People tried to convince me by saying, ‘it is ok, do it, what now you’re looking for Filmfare award or what?!’ I’ve heard all these things, then I’d say ok, but the next morning I’d say no because something inside me was just not convinced.”

Speaking about her role in Hush Hush, The actress said, “It is like ‘paanchon ungliyan ghee mein‘ kind of situation for me. I always wanted something like this, probably I manifested it,” she said. Ayesha further added that she believes she manifested the role because it was something she wanted to do and it offered her the opportunity to be someone completely different rather than herself.

 Ayesha added, "I don’t know (but) I’d feel very awkward if I worked opposite Salman  (Khan) or any of my co-actors and suddenly I’ve to play their bhabhi or mother. I don’t know, I just mentally… So I’d rather not do it. But if there is a character which is strong, convincing and author-backed, I would obviously do it. Then I wouldn’t think about it. So, it is a beautiful change and I am looking forward to doing much better roles."

On the work front, The actress is all set for her comeback on screen and the release of her digital debut Hush Hush is set to premiere on Prime Video on September 22. Directed by Tanuja Chandra, it also features Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan Pataudi, Kritika Kamra, Shahana Goswami, and Karishma Tanna.
