Well there was a time when they had also encountered many problems because of their addiction. Well recently, he has spoken about it once again.

He said, "At one point of time, he had gone into depression because of addiction and at that time Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were the people who helped fight against his depression and bipolar disorder. All you would know is that Honey Singh had moved away from not just the media but also his work for a while during his hit career. In fact, it was because of his addiction and depression.

Recently, Honey Singh said, "I took time to accept myself that I was sick. I went through sleepless nights. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone stood by me in the fight against intoxication and depression. The two also helped me get out of depression with the number of doctors. He further said, "Deepika has gone through this phase and she gave me a doctor's number in Delhi. Everyone prayed for me to recover. If an artist is like a mirror to the audience, why can't he share every part of his life."
