'Yoga and tai-chi' an effective tool to manage chronic pain

A Study has shown that popular health interventions like Yoga, Tai-chi and acupuncture may help act as an effective tool to manage chronic pain conditions. It seems like the patients suffering from painful ailments like back pain, neck pain, severe headaches, osteoarthritis, and migraine can bid their goodbyes to heavy chemical infused medicines which do more harm to the body than good.

For many people who suffer from chronic pain, medications don’t completely relieve the pain and moreover can also cause unwanted side effects. The study on the other hand has found that interventions like Yoga and Tai-chi had no significant side effects.

While acupuncture and yoga were found to be beneficial for back pain, a combination of acupuncture and tai-chi ( a form of Chinese martial art)was best for knee osteoarthritis.
