Faridabad, On the occasion of second International Yoga Day, Baba Ramdev led the event in Faridabad on Tuesday. Lakhs of people gathered in Faridabad's HUDA ground to practice yoga with the founder of the Patanjali group.

International Day of Yoga celebrations began across the nation, as various states were seen holding yoga sessions, where people turned out in large numbers to practice the ancient Indian discipline.

June 21 was declared as the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2014 after a call from the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27.
