New Delhi: The United Kisan Morcha has held a press conference on Monday to clarify the issue of rape of a young woman on the Tikri border after it came to light and questioned the silence of the United Kisan Morcha over it. Meanwhile, activist Yogendra Yadav, one of the leading farmers' movements, said the United Kisan Morcha was not aware of the rape of women protesters at the venue. The victim's father was also present at the press conference.

It is being alleged that the farmer leaders were aware of it, but they did not inform the police. A 26-year-old girl has died of the corona. The victim's father has registered a case alleging the rape of his daughter at the agitation site. Police have registered a case against six persons in connection with the case. It is alleged that the accused belonging to the Kisan social army had accompanied her on a vehicle from West Bengal on April 10.

The girl was sexually assaulted during the travel and gang-raped when she reached the Tikri border. According to police, the victim was admitted to a private hospital in Bahadurgarh on the night of April 25 for treatment of coronavirus. She died on April 30. In his complaint, the victim's father accused the main accused Anil Malik and Anup Singh of trying to kidnap his daughter. The other accused are Ankush Sangwan, Kavita, Jagdish Brar, and Yogita.
