Today is the birthday of India's famous freestyle wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt. He was born on 2 November 1982 in Bhainswal Kalan village in Sonepat city, Haryana. He belongs to a highly educated family. His father, Mr. Ram Mehar, mother Mrs. Sushila Devi, and his grandfather are teachers by profession. Yogeshwar was closer to his mother. His mother was not only a good teacher but also a good mother, who used to teach her son.
Yogeshwar shares all the good, bad, and small happy moments of his life with his mother. His family wanted Yogeshwar to follow their footsteps, but he was interested in wrestling from a very young age. When he was young, he was inspired to see the exploits of a wrestler named Balraj from his village and since then he started taking wrestling seriously.
He is one of the best wrestlers in the world, who has represented his country India all over the world. Yogeshwar has been playing wrestling since the age of 8. The young wrestler proved his talent in the world by winning the gold medal in the "Commonwealth Games" 2003. After this great achievement, he won many awards for his country including gold, silver, and bronze medals. He is one of the most talented players. In 2012, he won a bronze medal in the 60kg category at the Summer Olympics, for which he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth "highest civilian honor" by the Government of India in 2013.
