Lucknow: Another minister in CM Yogi's cabinet Dharam Singh Saini resigned from the cabinet on Thursday. He is the third Minister to withdraw from the Government within 48 hours. Labour Minister Swami Prasad Maurya and Forest Minister Dara Singh Chauhan have also resigned ahead of Dharam Singh. Dharam Singh Saini had denied media reports about his resignation following the resignation of Swami Prasad Maurya.

Dharam Singh has repeated the same things mentioned by Swami Prasad Maurya and Dara Singh Chauhan in their resignations. Saini, who was minister of state in the Department of Ayush Food and Drug Administration in the Yogi government, wrote in his resignation, "I discharged my responsibilities with all my mind. But with the expectations with which Dalits, backward, farmers, educated, unemployed, small and middle-class traders worked together to bring the BJP to power with a huge majority, I resign from the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet because of the constant neglectful attitude towards him and his representatives.''

Dharam Singh Saini had dismissed media reports after Swami Prasad Maurya's resignation saying he was not leaving the BJP. He had released the video saying, 'Mauryaji is and will remain my elder brother. But I am not aware of why he has resigned. I have not spoken to him. I have come to know from the news channels that he has probably named me as one of those who resigned and joined the Samajwadi Party (SP). They have done it wrong. He has given my name without informing me. I am in the BJP and will remain in the BJP. '
