Kanpur: BJP government is making many efforts for cleanliness campaign in the state. Under this, strict instructions have been given regarding the ban on polythene. From time to time, the team has made a lot of efforts to stop the use of polythene by conducting raids. Despite this, the traders are not getting rid of their arbitrariness. Due to this, SDM Akbarpur Anand Kumar Singh has campaigned with the team against polythene. In this campaign, 1.15 quintal polythene has been caught by the officers amid raids. Also, a fine of about 84 thousand rupees has been charged. Amidst this raid, there was a lot of commotion among people.

In raids in these areas, Akbarpur SDM Anand Kumar of Kanpur countryside has raided about 24 shops in Akbarpur, Badlapur, Nabipur and Lalpur. As soon as the shops were raided, there was a stir in the market and many shopkeepers were seen closing the shop and getting angry. SDM has caught about 1.15 quintal polythene.

10 thousand has been recovered from Manish Pal in Nabipur, 25 thousand from Harishankar in Badlapur, 10 thousand from Ramji's grocery shop in Mati and 84 thousand rupees of Kulmila. The SDM said that raids have been conducted in big shops. The campaign against polythene will continue even further. Shopkeepers should not use polythene or else strict action will also be taken.
