Lucknow: After the return of the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, the difficulties of the family of veteran Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and former minister Azam Khan are seen increasing. The Rampur district administration has started the process to reject the arms licenses of Azam Khan's wife Tanzin Fatima and his MLA son Abdullah Azam Khan, soon after the assembly elections. On this matter, Additional SP Dr. Sansar Singh has told that former MLA Tanzeem Fatima had a rifle license in his name and criminal cases are registered against him, so a report of cancellation of license has been sent.

He told that similarly many cases are registered against MLA Mohammad Abdullah Azam. The report of cancellation of the revolver's license in his name has also been sent to the District Magistrate. Let us inform that since the formation of Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017, Azam Khan's family has been continuously facing cases one after the other. More than 200 cases have been registered against his family. Azam Khan himself is imprisoned in Sitapur Jail for the last 2 years, while his wife has also come out of jail for more than 1 year. At the same time, Azam Khan's son and MLA Abdullah Azam Khan has also been released on bail after staying in jail for 18 months.

Let us inform that Azam Khan, who was elected MLA for the tenth time from Rampur Sadar seat, is currently behind bars in cases like recruitment scam in Jal Nigam and grabbing enemy property. A few days ago, SP MLA has been granted bail from the High Court in the recruitment scam case. Whereas, in the second case also the debate has been completed in the High Court and the decision on this is yet to come.
