Yogi Govt asked officials to ensure help to those affected in Ghaghara boat accident

Lucknow:: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday (October 20) that the authorities should expeditiously reach the location of the drowning accident in the Ghaghra river in Lakhimpur Kheri district, and that the victims should have received all possible assistance.

The death of a drowning boat in the Ghaghra river in the Lakhimpur Kheri district has been confirmed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to the Chief Ministers office, it has been directed that district administration staff to immediately reach the site and carry out rescue and relief operations. Rescue and relief operations should be carried out quickly, according to the Chief Minister, who said it would be done with the support of the disaster management staff. The Chief Minister said that with the help of the disaster management team, rescue and relief work should be done expeditiously.

According to a local police officer who evaluated the incident, ten people went missing after a boat capsized in the Ghaghara river. Officers were on the scene. Divers are searching for missing people. More details are being requested.
