Yogi government will soon bring law to remove encroached religious places

Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh had asked the administration to mark the religious places built by encroaching on the roads and along the roads, and send them to the government. Now the government headed by Yogi Adityanath of the state is preparing to bring a law to remove the encroached religious site. According to the information, a law will be enacted to remove the encroached religious places in UP.

It is being told that the government can bring this law in the upcoming session of the Legislative Assembly. There is a provision in this law that if a religious place is made in public places, then it can be punishable for up to 3 years. The Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission has handed over the draft of the proposed law to CM Yogi. The draft of the proposed law recommends imprisonment of up to three years for illegal construction of a religious site.

The commission has proposed three categories. In the first category, it has been recommended to regularize the religious places built before a fixed date, in which there is no obstruction of traffic. In the second category, it has been recommended to relocate or shrink such religious places. Whereas, in the third category it is recommended to remove religious places built after a certain date.
