Lucknow: Lockdown has come into effect in the country's capital Delhi, but the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is against it. Yesterday, the Allahabad High Court ordered lockdown in 5 cities, but the Yogi government is not at all willing. The Yogi government is today approaching the Supreme court against the court's decision. The Yogi government has sought an immediate hearing on its petition.

In fact, the Yogi government argues that corona cases have increased in the state and are essential for the control of the harsh corona infection, the government has taken several steps and further stringent steps are being taken, saving lives as well as saving the livelihood of the poor, in which case the entire lockdown in cities will not take place yet, people are automatically imprisoned in many places.

Let me tell you that the Allahabad High Court had ordered lockdown in five cities of UP amid the growing outbreak of the global epidemic coronavirus. The high court had issued orders to impose lockdown in Varanasi, Kanpur Nagar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Prayagraj by April 26.
