Yogi govt's bulldozer ran on a shopping mart worth 10 crores close to Mukhtar Ansari

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath government has been constantly clamping down on Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari from the Mau Sadar assembly seat. The administration drove a bulldozer at the shopping mart of Mukhtar's close aide and contractor Umesh Singh in Mau on Saturday morning. The action was taken on the orders of the city magistrate.

According to reports, the mart, built at a cost of about Rs 10 crore, had been operating for the past several years. Police were clamping down on close relatives of Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari in the Mau district of Purvanchal. The case for illegal construction in the Mau City Magistrate's court was going on against State vs Umesh Singh, Ajay Singh, Vijay Singh and Vinay Singh. Hearing this, the court issued a demolition order on Friday.

The order was followed by the demolition of the mega-mart at Bhiti in the Kotwali area on Saturday morning. Municipal employees including Hari Singh of ADM, CO City Dhananjay Mishra, EO Municipality Dinesh Kumar, Shahar Kotwal DK Srivastava, Sarailakhansi SO Ram Singh, Haldharpur SO Nihar Nandan Singh and a large number of police forces were present. In the case, CO City Dhananjay Mishra said the illegal construction is being demolished following an order from the city magistrate.
