Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has decided to honour all of the country's medal winners in the Tokyo Paralympics. Officials have been requested by the chief minister to create a strategy for the event's organization.

According to a representative for the administration, "The athletes' outstanding performance at the Tokyo Paralympics has made the country proud. All those who earned a medal for the country, as well as those who won a medal for UP, will be honoured at a public ceremony."

"All 'Divyang' players from the state's 75 districts should be invited to this event. For them, it will be a morale lift. For this occasion, a detailed plan should be created "Officials were informed by the chief minister.
 
The Uttar Pradesh government had earlier honoured Olympic athletes by awarding Rs 2 crore to gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, Rs 1.5 crore to silver medalists, Rs one crore to each member of the men's hockey team that won a bronze medal, and Rs 50 lakh to each member of the women's hockey team that came close to winning a medal. Last month, all of the medalists were honoured during a ceremony hosted in the state capital.
