Ekadashi date is considered to be of utmost importance in Hinduism. In fact, ekadashi date comes twice a month. One of them comes from the Krishna side and the other comes on the Shukla side. A total of 24 Ekadashi falls in a year. The ekadashi falling on the Krishna side of the month of Ashadh is called Yogini Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu is worshipped on this day. In fact, Lord Vishnu fulfils the wishes of all the jatakas. According to the beliefs, Shri Krishna says that yogini ekadashi fast gives 88,000 Brahmins the same fruit as feeding them. Now we are going to tell you the date of Yogini Ekadashi, shubh muhurat, and katha.

According to the Hindu Panchang, the 12th will begin at 7.55 pm on Sunday, July 4. It will end at 10.30 p.m. on 5th July. Ekadashi will remain throughout the day on 5th July with the same date of rise. As a result, Yogini Ekadashi Vrat will be observed on 5th July. On 6th July, from 5.29 a.m. to 8.16 a.m., there will be a paran muhurat.

What is the story: According to some beliefs, in ancient times, King Kubera of Alkapuri city had a gardener whose job was to bring flowers from Mansarovar to worship Lord Shivaji. One day there was a delay in bringing flowers to the gardener due to some other work. As a result, King Kuber was very angry and cursed the gardener for being a leper. Hem Mali, who was suffering from the curse, wandered to markandeya rishi's ashram. There, the sage asked mali to observe yogini ekadashi fast. Under the influence of fasting, the gardener was freed from the curse.
