New Delhi: The second wave of corona in the country may seem to be slowing down, but the atmosphere is still very bad. While more than 2 lakh cases are being registered every day, the third wave has also knocked. Now the case that has come to light is that one of the youngest infants has beaten corona after 1 month of treatment. According to the information received, his mother was seriously suffering from corona infection at the time of the baby's birth. The baby's mother was on mechanical ventilator support, which led to the birth of the baby within 28 weeks of time.
The baby reportedly weighed only 1000 grams (1 kg). The baby's report in the corona test after birth was negative, but a week after the test, the baby's oxygen level was seen to be decreasing and breathing problems, after which the baby was again tested positive for a corona test in which his report was found positive. The baby's weight was also reportedly reduced to 920 grams, after which the baby was placed on ventilator in the ICU of the covid isolation ward. A team of doctors along with Dr Aparna of the infant was constantly keeping an eye on the KIMS hospital while undergoing treatment. The baby's health began to improve, and a month later the baby recovered and gained 1,500 grams.
The infant's parents are extremely happy after being discharged from the hospital. The infant's father has thanked Dr. Aparna. "When his baby contracted a corona infection a few days after birth, he was very scared," she said. A month later, after recovering from his health, he had no sense of happiness. The baby has become the youngest covid survivor.
