What kind of social life you have depends on tons of factors, like your personality and your deliberate efforts to take care of relationships, but there's even more to the story.

Believe it or not, even your immune system affects your social life, in an unexpected revelation discovered by academics recently.

And though you probably wouldn't have ever dreamed up this connection on your own, the explanation actually makes sense.

“Our findings contribute to a deeper understanding of social dysfunction in neurological disorders, such as autism and schizophrenia, and may open new avenues for therapeutic approaches,” said Vladimir Litvak, assistant professor at University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS).

“It’s like a little airport in small cities [suddenly] become major hubs and so there’s a mess in the air,” said Jonathan Kipnis, chair of UVA’s Department of Neuroscience and one of the authors of the study.

“Same thing happens with the brain, so [the] brain cannot function properly.” Your immune System may be connected with your Social Behaviour!
