Everyone heards that Smoking kills, but it harms children the most than we thought. According to researchers, children who live with a smoker or are exposed to tobacco smoke become frequently ill and are more likely to end up in the doctor’s office or hospital, including sick care.

Analysis have been done by US team from the National Survey on Children’s Health 2011-2012 data.

Lead study author Ashley Merianos from University of Cincinnati said-“Our findings indicate that tobacco smoke exposure has a significant impact on demand for health care services”.

Children who lives with smokers are more prone to diseases and have to visit doctors place at regular basis.

The study was presented at the Pediatric Academic Societies 2016 meeting in Baltimore, US recently.
