Hisar: The Intelligence Wing of the Army has arrested three persons from Cant area of Haryana from Muzaffarnagar in UP for allegedly spying on the Army. The three arrested persons were spying on the army and sending their activities to Pakistan through social media. According to information, Mehtab (28), a resident of Masabi village of Shamli, a resident of Masabi village in Uttar Pradesh, who works as a labourer in a civil construction company engaged in construction of a mess building in the military area of Cantt, Khalid (25) and Sherpur village of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh Resident Ragib (34) joined the company a week ago.

Mobiles have been found from them, including video clips, WhatsApp vices and some photographs. The trio have been handed over to Hisar Sadar police station for questioning. The three accused are expected to make further disclosures. All three had been monitoring the activities of the army from day one. They were monitored by military intelligence and army police on the information of military intelligence and their suspicious activities. They were arrested Thursday night on suspicion of being arrested.

It is said that the mobile of one of the accused has also obtained records of conversations with Pakistani spies through WhatsApp and video calls. The three accused entered the company a week ago as a labourer and started mobile-to-mobile activities between army personnel and the Cant area from the very next day. They were in touch with Pakistani spies and sending them military inputs.
