YS Jagan pays Tributes to Justice Subhashan Reddy

YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has paid his rich tributes to former High Court justice Subhashan Reddy who passed away. Justice Subhashan Reddy breathed his last in Hyderabad on Wednesday following a prolonged illness. Reddy was undergoing treatment for his illness in a hospital in Hyderabad for the past one month.

Having served as a judge in many high courts in India, Reddy also served as Chief Justice of Madras and Kerala High Courts. He was retired from the Kerala High Court in 2005. His body was later taken to his residence in Avanti Nagar in the city and the funeral held at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills later in the afternoon. Subhashan Reddy is survived by three sons, two sons are in the legal profession and the third one is an Engineer.

After retirement in 2005, Justice Subhashan Reddy served as the first chairman of AP State Human Rights Commission and then took charge as Lok Ayukta of AP in Oct 2012. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao visited Justice Reddy’s house and placed a wreath and conveyed his deep condolences to his family. AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Governor ESL Narasimhan, Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy also condoled Reddy’s demise.
