Amravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched 'YSR Cheyutha'. This has been done with the objective of accelerating the pace of development in the field of women empowerment. An important scheme has been launched in the field of women empowerment. CM himself has inaugurated the scheme in his office on Wednesday. Under the scheme, women above the age of 45 years and below the age of 60 years will be given financial assistance of Rs 75,000 in four years at the rate of Rs 18,750 every year.

Talking about the castes getting benefits of this scheme, women of SC, ST, OBC and minorities will be able to take full advantage of this scheme. On Wednesday, CM Jagan has deposited Rs 18,750 in the account of every beneficiary by pressing the button in the first phase of the scheme. In the budget, CM has sanctioned Rs 4,700 for YSR Cheyutha scheme. Before this, no ruling government has deposited Rs 17 thousand crores under the scheme in the account of 25 lakh such women for 4 years.

With the aim of providing employment opportunities on a large scale in the state, the government has also entered into agreements with well-known companies like Amul, ITC, Heul and Procter & Gamble.
