State Election Commissioner (SEC) Nimmagadda Rameshkumar has been widely criticized for acting in an arbitrary manner. Ministers Kursala Kannababu, Avanti Srinivas and Sriranganatharaju were outraged over the Nimmagadda decision. He was incensed that the election schedule was released with a personal agenda. Minister Sriranganatharaju criticized Nimmagadda for working as a TDP activist. "How to give an election schedule without consulting the government. "How is it possible to hold elections during vaccination?" Similarly, Minister Avanti Srinivas said, "It is not right for Nimmagadda Ramesh to take a unilateral decision.
