Visakhapatnam: Police has assured action against the person who lodged a complaint against the YSRCP leader in the land encroachment case in Andhra Pradesh. Tirupal Reddy, a relative of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, occupied the land of a minority family at Mayadukur in Kadapa district after which the victim approached the police station. Shockingly, the police threatened the victim instead of taking appropriate action.

The same Kadapa Superintendent of Police Amburajan said that YSRCP leader Tirupal Reddy along with a police officer encroached on Akbar Basha's (victim's) land and threatened him. "Kadapa victim Akbar Basha accused the police officer of allegedly harassing him and his family and made a video in which he claimed to be happy if he did not get justice in time," he said.

The video went viral on the same social media. Basha urged CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy and DGP Gautam Sawang to protect them from police harassment. The video has been viewed by the CM office. Basha and his family live in a village in Duvvoor Mandal in the Kadapa district. Akbar Basha had made a video on Friday and shared it on social media. In that video, Basha said, "YSRCP leader Tirupal Reddy has occupied one and a half acres of his land. When I contacted the police, the police threatened me and my family with an encounter.''
