She said in a conversation with a website, 'People are dragging Sooraj in a fit. They want a forced person to be blamed. He has nothing to do with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. People are just making stories. Sooraj and Sushant were not friends. They did know each other. Sometimes both used to be talked about. That too when we met. Both used to call each other as brothers.' Zarina further said, 'some rumors started spreading online. Trolled Sooraj. Tried to hurt his mental health. It is not a good thing that you sit down making fun of any forced situation. They should be scared. People have a lot of free time to do all these things. It is very easy to sit behind a computer and talk. They do not think what all these things can do to anyone. Sooraj has already suffered a lot in his life. How can someone kill someone when the two met a few months ago?'
Sooraj Pancholi was also accused of suicide of ex-girlfriend Jia Khan. In the year 2013, Jiah had committed suicide and her suicide was also accused of Sooraj.
