Zee Media Corporation today said its Group CEO - News Cluster Bhaskar Das has depart following his transfer to further Essel Group entity. “He resigned as Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from April 20, 2016”, it added.

Das, who was president of media group Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd (BCCL), had united Subhash Chandra-led Essel Group as chief executive officer (CEO) in 2012.
