KIEV:  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the establishment of United24, a global fundraising platform for the war-torn country.

Zelensky stated in his latest video speech that this platform is likely to become the major conduit for collecting money in support of Kiev, Ukrayinska Pravda reported. "Fundraising is simply the beginning of the United24 endeavour; other projects and programmes will follow soon," President said.  Through the website u24.gov.ua, United24 allows you to donate in one click from any country.

The funds will be given across three areas of assistance: defence and demining, humanitarian and medical aid, and Ukraine reconstruction.  "Donate to help safeguard the environment. Donate to help others. Donate to the rebuilding effort "Zelensky stated.

All funds will be transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine's accounts and allocated to the Ministries of Defense, Health, and Infrastructure.  Every 24 hours, the bank will report on charitable contributions received through United24, while the Ministries will report on how contributions are allocated once a week.
