Talking about the specifications of ZenFone Max (M1), it comes with a 5.45” full view HD+ display which hides beneath it a Snapdragon 430 Octa-core SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The cameras on the phone are an 8-Megapixel f/2.0 selfie lens with LED flash, and a 13-Megapixel camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture lens at the back. It also features a phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) system that can accurately focus on the subject. Powering the device is a powerful 4000mAh battery.

On the other hand, ZenFone Lite (L1) comes with a 5.45” Full View 18:9 display and a similar Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core SoC setup. However, there are marked differences when compared to the Max M1. ZenFone Lite (L1) gets a 3000mAh battery which despite being a high capacity one isn't as big as the one fitted inside the Max M1. ZenFone Lite (L1) has only been equipped with a 13-Megapixel rear camera with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and 5-Megapixel lens at the front.  The ZenFone Lite (L1) also brings with it face-unlock capabilities for easy hands-free unlocking.
