Zero Discrimination Day is an annual day celebrated by the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations. The day is to promote equality before the law and behavior in all member states of the United Nations. The day was first observed on 1 March 2014, and it was launched on 27 February of that year with a major event in Beijing by UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe.

In February 2017, UNAIDS called on people to "stand in the way of achieving ambitions, goals, and dreams and make some noise around zero discrimination to prevent discrimination." The day is particularly noted by organizations such as UNAIDS that combat discrimination against people living with HIV / AIDS. "HIV-related stigma and discrimination prevails in almost every part of the world, including Liberia, and is present in almost every part of the world, including our Liberia," according to Dr. Ivan F. Camanor, Chairman of the National AIDS Commission of Liberia. The United Nations Development Program also paid tribute to LGBTI people with HIV / AIDS in 2017 facing discrimination.

Campaigners in India have used this day to speak out against laws that discriminate against the LGBTI community, particularly during a previous campaign to repeal the law (Indian Penal Code, s377) which previously had homosexuality in that country Used to criminalize that law was overturned by the Supreme Court of India in September 2018. In 2015, Armenian Americans from California organized a 'Die-In' on Zero Discrimination Day to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
