Zero gets a good response in Beijing International Film Festival

Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Shrama and Katrina Kaif starrer Zer received mixed response at the box-office. The DC failed miserably at the box office as it could only collect Rs 90 crore and faced rejection by the audience and mixed response from the film critics. But the silver lining for the superstar came in the form of the Beijing International Film Festival where Zero was selected as the closing film. SRK travelled to China to promote the film and for the first time spoke about the failure Zero at the India box office.

Zero closed the Beijing International Film Festival in China last night. Shah Rukh Khan presented the film and if trade analyst Ramesh Bala is to be believed, the movie has received a good response from the audience. He tweeted, ". @iamsrk presented #Zero at the #BeijingInternationalFilmFestival With edits from the original version, movie received good response from Chinese audience.."

Talking about failture of film in India, SRK told CGTN, "Unfortunately Zero itself wasn't received too well back home in India, maybe I made the wrong film, maybe I did not do the right storytelling so I am a little wary how it will be received here and I hope people here will like it."
