Actress Zoe Kravitz, who will play Catwoman in Matt Reeves' forthcoming 'The Batman,' said she wanted to give viewers an honest impression. "I read the screenplay," Kravitz told Another magazine. Then (Reeves) spoke with me again to get a sense of what I was thinking and to see whether we were on the same page. It took some time because I didn't know him well.

"It's painful when huge possibilities, big parts, come along and you really want them, and you don't get them." You spent a lot of time and effort into it." She said, "But the one thing I tried to keep in check the rest of the time was my desire to be nice and liked in to get the role. 'I adore it,' I didn't want to say upon reading the script. Everything about it appeals to me.' Then I go to the audition and feel like a puppy dog."

According to sources, the 32-year-old actress discussed how she tried to convey to the director her thoughts for the role, which she believes helped her land the part in the film, which is slated to be released next year and stars Robert Pattinson as Batman.

She stated, " "It was critical to give him a sense of what it's like to collaborate with me. To speak what I truly believe and to ask the questions I want to ask if we're on set together. I attempted to approach it from the perspective of demonstrating to him how I perceive and feel about this character. That, I suppose, is why I was cast in the part."

Kravitz continued, " "Matt is a wonderful filmmaker who is very interested in discussing the character. We had a lot of interesting discussions. After reading the screenplay, I had some ideas regarding the role, which were appreciated."
