Tamil Nadu: In the General Council Meeting today, the party has elected M.K Stalin as the working president of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Earlier, the meeting scheduled to held on December 20, got cancelled because of the hospitalisation of DMK president M. Karunanidhi.
The party General Secretary K. Anbalagan headed the meeting. M. Thambidurai, senior AIADMK Leader asked the party general secretary to become the Chief Minister.
AIADMK leaders still request V.K Sasikala to take the position of Tamil Nadu chief minister.
