The choreographer-director Remo D’Souza expressed his desire to include folk dance in his upcoming film. As per now, he is not just planning to incorporate folk dance but also want to make a full-fledged film based on the life of a folk dancer and it's beautiful art form.

Remo wants Deepika Padukone and her dancing skills to make the part of film, “I have the script ready and the project is waiting to go on floors. I would love to cast Deepika in the lead role. She is an amazing dancer and one of my favourites."

Remo have already worked with Dippy in Bajirao Mastani where he choreographed Deewani Mastani track, which featured Deepika, also the track won national award.

Remo says, “Few people are aware that I was the one who choreographed her first music video before she entered the industry. She was doing ad films and I got her to do a video with Himesh Reshamiya (Aap Ka Surroor). We haven’t worked together since (all the way till Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and later, Bajirao Mastani ) and her talent has only grown.”

With his new app, “I am definitely looking at the app to scout some great talent for the film, but I will be producing it,” he says.
