Mumbai: Popular actor Rana Daggubati, famous for his roles in Baahubali and Ghazi, has been chosen to voice the character of Barca, the Ice Elf, in the upcoming second season of the anime Solo Leveling. Daggubati will lend his voice to Barca in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, offering Indian fans the chance to enjoy his powerful portrayal in their preferred language.

In an exciting move for Indian audiences, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced that Solo Leveling -ReAwakening, a special fan omnibus film, will be hitting theaters on December 6, 2024. This will be the first opportunity for fans to hear Rana Daggubati’s Hindi version of Barca on the big screen.

Barca is a key character in both Solo Leveling Season 2 and Solo Leveling -ReAwakening. As a skilled swordsman and leader of the Red Gate Dungeon, Barca presents a major challenge to the protagonist Jinwoo, adding even more intensity to the anime’s action-packed story.

Solo Leveling, based on Chugong's popular Korean web novel, will launch its second season globally in January 2025. The anime, produced by A-1 Pictures and Production I.G, follows the story of Jinwoo, a low-ranking hunter who becomes one of the most powerful figures in the world.

The Solo Leveling -ReAwakening film will be available in Hindi, English, and Japanese, offering a cinematic recap of the first season with exclusive previews of the new season. The film promises to deliver a thrilling anime experience with visuals that continue to set the series apart, complemented by music from Hiroyuki Sawano and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
