The police today has booked BJP MP and Union Minister Babul Supriyo on a complaint of TMC MLA Mahua Moitra as she said that the Babul Supriyo made statements which insulted her.
At Alipore city police station, she filed a complaint and a case has been started against the Union minister IPC section 509 (insulting the modesty of any woman, utters any word, makes any sound or gesture).
According to the sources "The BJP MP, through a notice from the Alipore police station on Wednesday, has been asked to appear before them by January 12."
