Director Shankar shared a novel poster of his forthcoming masterwork 2.0, boasting of Rajinikanth and babe Amy Jackson. The poster resembles the primary look, released during 2016 that showcased the opposition between the fictional characters of superstar Rajinikanth and Khiladi Kumar scripted all over it.

But the latest one hints a romantic kinship between Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson. There are no additional points about Jackson’s part, the recently launched character poster looks like Amy Jackson may be doing the role of a woman robot in the big budget science fiction movie.

"Our most ambitious project, Shankar's '2.o' shifts to January 25, 2018. It moves from earlier Diwali release to achieve world class standards in VFX," said Raju Mahalingam, COO, Lyca Productions, the makers of "2.o".

“The filmmakers will start organising promotional events from October. The makers are also planning different types of promotions state-wise down south, which will go on until December end. And from January first week, the makers will ramp up the promotional activities across India,” says a source.

The team will host a massive audio launch at Burj park in Dubai later this month. The much-awaited 2.0 teaser will be out on November 22, while the trailer is expected to be out in December.
