Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a man at the Kurla railway station tried to snatch a chain of a 25-year-old woman. The woman died in the incident as the accused pushed her off while doing an act.
The victim identified as Sapna Shukla, who was a resident of suburban Ghatkopar. The shocking act occurred on Wednesday evening at the platform number 1 of Kurla station in the city.
A train hit her after the convict in a try to snatch her chain, pushed her onto the tracks. Further the woman was taken to hospital, where she was declared dead.
The accused was booked under section 304 of IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
