Accused sentenced life imprisonment in Ajmer dargah blast

The National Investigation Agency court in the Ajmer Dargah Blast has declared sentence to two convicts in their relation to the matter. The court ordered life imprisonment to Devendra Gupta and Bhavesh Patel.

On March 8 the NIA court in the case convicted three persons. Out of which Sunil Joshi died in 2014. Both the accused were convicted under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for criminal conspiracy and under Sections of the Explosive Substances Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

In 2007 the blast took place in the dargah of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti.
