Akshaye Khanna and Aamir Khan were seen together in the film Dil Chahta Hai and have remained quite close since then Akshay and Aamir always kept in touch even after they were not done with the film.
Recently Aamir had invited Akshaye Khanna for the special screening of his latest release ‘Secret Superstar. "While having a chat, Aamir told Akshaye that he was introduced by Ittefaq’s trailer and is looking forward to watching the film,” informs a source from Bollywood .
The source further adds that Akshay has told the makers of the film to organize a special screening of the film soon for Aamir. Akshaye will be ready to host Aamir himself."

The thriller Ittefaq is an adaption of the Yash Chopra film of the same name which originally has the star cast Rajesh Khanna and Nanda. The remake starts Akshay Khanna, Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha in the leading performance.
